Black And Gold Emblazon The Air Jordan 1 Mid Once Again

Black And Gold Emblazon The Air Jordan 1 Mid Once Again

The Air Jordan 1 turns forty in 2025. With such a vast existence, sneakerheads are lenient when it comes to repeating colorways of the silhouette, especially when it brings forward an organic elegance on a sports shoe.

The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid, built with soft leathers on the entirety of the upper, gets a premium touch thanks to a two-toned colorway often associated with excellence and opulence. While black and gold has been a mainstay on Jordans long before it arrived, 2006’s Defining Moments channeled the unparalleled eminence of the GOAT perfectly.

But the black and gold pairing dates way back to the Air Jordan 1’s original run in 1985 via the mythical all-patent version. Although these are presented in a matte leather finish and are in no way positioned as a replacement, we imagine these will be welcome in board room meetings and on street-snaps alike.

Nike.com will stock these AJ1s soon for $135; see the official images ahead and flip through our Jordan Release Dates 2024 page to see what else is poppin’ for the rest of summer.

On the performance end, the Jumpman just debuted the Air Jordan 39 (click in for a full breakdown).
