Evidenced by the Nike KD 17 “Team Bank,” Kevin Durant’s latest silhouette is beginning to settle into itself, embracing simplified colorways in its last few releases. However, that doesn’t mean the silhouette has to ditch special editions entirely. As KD devotees await the return of narrative editions like the KD 4 “Aunt Pearl” and KD 4 “Nerf” in the second half of ’24, the another concept returns with images of the Nike KD 17 “Easy Money Sniper.”
For the uninitiated, the Nike KD 13 “Easy Money Sniper” is this pair’s predecessor, flipping the moniker into some 1960s peace-loving imagery. Though the smiley face and flowers are missing on this edition, the overall palette remains in place. Naturalistic greens land on the KD 17‘s Air Max Plus TPU waves and rosy crimson paints most of the branding throughout Atop a forest green & black foundation, the typical KD emblem switches to an “Easy” counterpart. Rounding out the design, arboreal embroidery is grafted onto the engineered mesh upper, emphasized by some textured laces to close things out.
The Nike KD 17 “Easy Money Sniper” is currently expected to land this season, likely emerging late Fall ’24. Prepare for the typical $150 price tag once these materialize.
