Snakeskins on the Air Max 90 may not happen often, but did you know that this odd pairing is one of the more esteemed pairs in history?
Nike is set to drop another one of Tinker Hatfield’s 1990 flagship classic wearing some exotic animal skins on the upper. This calls back to 2004’s Air Max 90 “Python”, a shoe that was once among the most sought-after classic Air Maxes of the unmatched early-mid 2000s era (and it retroed again in 2019).
With this refreshed execution, Nike ushers in the typical gamut of hues that you’ll commonly find at the end of the year. Shades of Malt, Velvet Brown, Light Orewood Brown, and Flax — all mainstays in Nike footwear befitting this time of year — combine for a true lifestyle-intended release, emphasized only by the rattlesnake patterns that slithers onto the toe-box and the ankle.
A release is likely landing this Spring 2025; stay tuned for updates and check out the official images ahead.
