New York-based streetwear giants Supreme have been collaborating with Nike SB since its inception nearly a decade ago, and for their latest project, they “asked Nike if they might be open to . . . [Supreme’s] own model [and Nike was] cool enough to give us the go-ahead.” That’s how Supreme founder James Jebbia describes the process that led to designer Luke Meier crafting one of the more unique skate shoes we’ve seen to date. The first skateboarding shoe to feature Foamposite technology, the Supreme x Nike SB ’94 fits that satiny space age material onto the heel of a tonal + white design. The Foamposite segments and the SB ’94’s construction in general reflect Supreme’s rebellious attitude, and you can read the entire Jebbia interview over at honeyee.
