The Nike SB Dunk Pro B line of the early 2000’s was (is) popular for a number of reasons. 1: The colorways (Plums, Ceramics, Ugly Ducklings, Puttys, etc…) were matched perfectly. 2: The quality of the suede was top notch, still looking its Sunday best after countless wears. 3: It didn’t require hype or any price-hiking mumbo jumbo. Those were the days when a Nike Dunk was dope solely because it was a Nike Dunk – no hype, no gimmicks, no frills, just heat. Earlier this year a Nike SB Dunk High in orange, royal blue, and black released; it reminded some of the Dunk Low Pro B ‘Ceramic’ in high-top form, and possibly for 2011, Nike SB launch another SB Dunk High reminscent of the ‘Plum’ colorway, which features a plum purple, black, and red upper. Is this enough to coax your inner Dunk-fiend out once again? Check out a pics of the original Plums for a comparison and let us know what you think. via N-SB.
