The low-cut has been the running buddy of the flapship LeBron shoe each year since the Zoom LeBron II, so here’s a look at the long-anticipated Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low; it features the same upper construction, utilizing a Ashiko-style Flywire upper shell and perforated mesh inner liner. The trademark high tongue of the LeBron 8 is carried over to the low, giving these an illusory height; while it doesn’t appear to be very low-cut, note that the upper-most lace eyelet is the figure-8 opposed to the two additional lace eyelets in the regular Mid version. This new colorway features a vibrant blue upper with a volt Max Air unit, inner lining, and swoosh border, with a white swoosh and midsole.
