While Air Jordans and Retros will continue to be the primary revenue source for Jordan Brand, the designers at Jumpman have also pushed forward a number of fresh designs that have, unfortunately, fallen to the wayside due to the high demand and attention surrounding Retro releases. Design flair is one of the benchmarks evident in the earliest Air Jordans, and the new Jordan Flight 23 RST certainly captures a level of flair that would make these ‘rockable’ within any rotation. The all-new Flight 23 RST features a funky eyelets on the forefoot (first seen in the Jordan SC-1) with a unique mesh panel in the upper for weight-reduction purposes – serving a similar function as the netting on the Air Jordan IV. The added touch of visible Air gives these a nice tech-y punch, with a funky heel design giving these a distinct character. Of course, these aren’t a cup of tea that fits all tastes, but if you like what you see, look out for the new Jordan Flight 23 RST when it hits Jordan Brand retailers this April at a retail price of $120.
