Nike Sportswear has a six-pack of ‘World Basketball Festival’ sneakers on tap for later this summer, but without the three letters on the tongue of the red Nike Dunk High pictured above, they would have had to look for a different theme. Those WBF AF1s and Dunks have the same script that appears on the ‘Olympic’ Dunk High in tribute to USA Basketball, and without 1992’s immortal Dream Team, they might have looked a bit more like the red- or black-on-white pairs that, by contrast to the University Red Highs, are as simple and understated as they come. Click through for more details like the Lows’ corduroy Swoosh and look for the Nike Dunk ‘Olympic’ Pack at select NSW stores like Kith.
