Another jam-packed week of great Sneaker News, so let’s get right to it! A nice view of the upcoming Olive IX was revealed, while Jordan Brand provided us with an in-depth look at September’s footwear releases. Nike SB continues to ride the Dunk wave with some clean upcoming releases confirmed. The upcoming Hyperposite reveals itself in the on-feet look in two upcoming new colorways. Nike pays homage to brand founder Bill Bowerman with two new Air Trainer 1 recipes, while Nike’s current athletes in the basketball sector trot out and about in London wearing some more contemporary sneakers.
Allen Iverson returned to the limelight, bringing with him the Answer IV in two OG colorways, while a number of other Reebok headlines, like the return of the Twilight Zone, built on Reebok’s best year in ages. CNCPTS prepares us for another 999 banger, using the Navy SEAL as the inspiration, while Vans points to a skate icon for its Artist Series of Vans Half Cabs. Speaking of art, it was another great week for sneaker customs, with Mache doing his thing and Freehand Profit featuring the Nike x NFL partnership in a helmet. It was another solid span of throwback gems, with Nike continuing its 20 Years retrospective and Sneaker News going full force with Air Max icons for Classics Revisited. Finally Sneaker Con was a major success in D.C., as we got a thorough look at the day’s events as well as all the heat spotted on the feet of the attendees.
