This October 6th, the Air Jordan IX will make another wave of noise with a cluster of Retro releases for the Holiday 2012 season. We’re not much removed from 2010’s batch of OGs (the Powder, Charcoal, and OG White/Black/Red) and newbies (Citrus, FTLOTG), but this upcoming set doesn’t feature any double-ups, so not to worry! Kicking things off is the Black/Metallic Platinum-Gym Red colorway we commonly refer to as the ‘Kilroy’; this release is a tribute to Michael Jordan’s first ‘un-retirement’ when he took the basketball court under the pseudonym ‘Johnny Kilroy’.
