The Nike Air Max 1 has been stuck with a very particular material combination as of late as far as the “Essential” build is concerned. We’re talking the use of a mesh toebox, suede mudguard, leather Swoosh, and synthetic nubuck saddle. It’s back again, and is this time combined with white/red/black on the color side of things. They won’t be winning any awards for the most head-turning pair of 2014, but they’re still a fine go-to style that we’d imagine will make their way into many a rotation this summer.
