After first teasing it earlier this week, Concepts has revealed a complete look at their upcoming “City Rivalry” New Balance pack. It’s only been about two months since the Cambridge, Massachusetts shop released their first NB collab for 2016, but this time they find inspiration in one of the most heated rivalries in all of sports between New York and Boston. The Boston themed New Balance 998 was previewed earlier this week in mint/brown, and today the shop reveals the New York leg, represented by the New Balance 997 with a light green and silver color scheme that seems to be a tribute to the Statue of Liberty. Along with this preview, Concepts sets a release date of April 9th for the pack, which is right around opening day for the 2016 MLB season. Get a better look at both sneakers below and expect them to release at Concepts’ Cambridge and New York shops next week.
