The Converse Chuck Taylor Is The First Non-Nike Sneaker To Feature Flyknit

The Converse Chuck Taylor Is The First Non-Nike Sneaker To Feature Flyknit

Converse Flyknit

After Nike bought Converse a few years ago, no shoe has benefited more than Chuck Taylor All-Star. Taking advantage of Nike’s technology, first the iconic sneaker got upgraded with Lunarlon cushioning, and now comes the next chapter of Chuck innovation: a Flyknit construction. After Nike modified many of their own classic silhouettes with Flyknit, they now turn their attention to the Chuck Taylor for this brand-new version featuring a fully woven upper—marking the first time Flyknit has been used on a non-Nike sneaker.

Get a first look at the Chuck Taylor All Star II Flyknit here in a high-top (you can also expect a low version coming soon) in six colors, and get ready for their release on April 27th in a wide variety of colors at select retailers and Nike.com for $110.
