Chris Brown’s Sneaker Closet Is What All Celebrity Sneaker Closets Should Be

Most celebrity sneaker closets deal in the present – the latest exclusive collaborations and other unattainable footwear options each as pristine as the next. Then there’s Chris Brown‘s collection showcased through his video with Complex’s Joe La Puma. Brown’s Los Angeles mansion features multiple rooms dedicated to sneakers and streetwear and what’s most impressive about the insane number of footwear options is that they’re mostly already worn. Chris explained that he changes his sneaker rotation on average three to four times per day and doesn’t shy away from customs.

Chris also talks about the influence Allen Iverson had on him growing up since he’s also from Virginia. “Hometown bias. Michael Jordan made basketball. Iverson made basketball cool. In my area growing up, we wanted to be him. We wanted tattoos, we wanted cornrows, we wanted to be just like him. We could see our lives being depicted just how his life was. So he’s one of my biggest inspirations, still is.”

The multiple rooms filled with sneakers display an incredibly vast collection of brands, but there’s one imprint that Chris won’t wear (unless they pay him to) and that’s Sketchers. Watch the full video below.
