Of all the new footwear unveiled at Paris Fashion Week, adidas sub-label Y-3 may have taken away the top prize with the unveiling of a Futurecraft shoe in a new colorway. Featuring Carbon’s “4D” printed outsole, this upcoming sneaker by Yohji Yamamoto features an all-black Primeknit upper with the exposed workings of the lacing structure and an exterior leather heel counter. There’s also leather support piece at the medial toe, but the real attraction is the color-blocked Futurecraft sole that sees the light green with a blacked out midfoot. This model first debuted last June during adidas Y-3’s Spring/Summer 2018 line, but the tongue logos on this version features a simpler Y-3 logo. Based on the earlier adidas Y-3 footwear preview, we should expect the adidas Y3 Futurecraft 4D shoe to arrive in stores sometime in Fall/Winter 2018.
