Japanese footwear shop atmos has risen to become Nike’s most significant retail partner on the Air Max front. For three consecutive Air Max Day celebrations, Nike re-issued past classics by the atmos team, with the Animal Pack 2.0 being the most recent installment. For those who are yearning for something new, the shop’s next collaboration with Nike was just revealed on the cover of the latest Shoesmaster Japan issue – an Air Max 90 with original “Infrared” hits on the heel and Air Max housing and an upper graphic that depicts an endless wall of Nike shoeboxes. Black suede is used for the toe, tongue, and ankle, while a snakeskin-like material is placed on the Swoosh. A release date is not known, but this collaboration is scheduled to release in the coming months.
