The Nike Kyrie 4 N7 Honors The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe

The Nike Kyrie 4 N7 Honors The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe

After the recent announcement of a release date for the “Acid Wash” N7 Air Max 1, we now have a look at another N7 sneaker that’s set to release the same day: the Nike Kyrie 4. Paying homage to the Standing Rock Sioux tribe—whose livelihood is threatened by the proposed Dakota Access Pipeline, an oil line that could irreparably damage their only water source— the shoes feature a dark blue upper with lighter accents arriving via a cloud-like print on the tongue tab and heel. A Standing Rock Sioux badge is proudly displayed on the aforementioned cloudy heel, and the left tongue’s standard Kyrie Irving graphic is replaced with N7 branding. Further accents arrive via a light grey midsole and marbled navy outsole, and the shoe is rounded off with another Standing Rock seal on the insole. Look for this commemorative Kyrie 4 to release in both mens and kids sizes June 21st on Nike.com and at authorized Swoosh Brand retailers and SNKRS at 10 AM EST.

Update: The Nike Kyrie 4 N7 is available now on Nike.com.
