Brazil’s PIET Tees Up A Nike Air Force 1 “Old Golf Shoes”

Brazil’s PIET Tees Up A Nike Air Force 1 “Old Golf Shoes”

Brazilian lifestyle brand, PIET, is no stranger to collaborations with the Beaverton based sneaker titan as the two team up on a comic book-styled SB Dunk Low ten years ago. Back with a vengeance, PIET is lending their creative stylings to another Nike staple, the Air Force 1, with a bit of a twist… its made for the links. Given an “Old Golf Shoes” monicker, this white-out take on the AF1 equips a vintage fringe overlay that truly puts its inspiration through the roof. That same overlay sports categorical information pertaining to the collaborative effort in the style of nutritional information normally found on the back of food from a supermarket. Its pre-yellowed sole unit is meant to encourage consumers to wear this product on the golf course as it was intended, with “Good Things Turn Yellow” printed on its custom-designed box.

A new-look miniature Swoosh, more categorical information printed on its lateral side, and individually numbered heels round out this finely-crafted collab that is slated to release at the brand’s Sao Paulo store, limited exclusively to 40 pairs. Give us your thoughts on this unique take on one of the world’s most iconic shoes below and head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page for info on other Nike shoes.
