Fashion Week around the globe has become a hotbed of first looks at upcoming footwear, and none other than Virgil Abloh is providing a peek at what may come in the near future from his outstanding partnership with Nike. As part of his Track And Field Spring/Summer 2019 runway show, Virgil reveals a new women’s silhouette that blends elements of the VaporFly and Zoom Fly, but with track spikes and a bit of vintage flair with the upper that resembles Nike’s running aesthetic of the late 1970s. It is officially called the Nike Vaporstreet based on the text on the upper of the shoes, but not much else is known about this particular sneaker, although we expect a lot more to be revealed once the show goes live. Stay tuned for updates and let us know if you’re excited to see what Virgil and Nike are cooking up for 2019.
