Is This The Long Awaited Sequel To The Nike SB Janoski?

Is This The Long Awaited Sequel To The Nike SB Janoski?

Since it first released in 2009, the Nike SB Janoski silhouette has had one of the most relatively dominant runs in all of sneakers. Showcasing its longevity for the better part of a decade, the boat shoe-inspired skate marvel has fully crossed over onto the lifestyle circuit while hitting retailers in its original form as well as with a few modifications like the Janoski Slip. While a few tweaks have been made here and there, this signature Swoosh brand skate shoe has never received an official sequel of sorts, until now. Set to arrive at retailers soon will be the Nike SB Air Max Janoski 2 that keeps many of the major elements uniform to the original, but modernizes its ankle, sole, and toebox.

First and foremost, its ankle collar now boasts a sock-like construction for easier slip-on access and all-day comfort, while its toebox features a more streamlined look for an even more emphasized lifestyle aesthetic. Finally, the biggest deviation from the OG comes by way of its Air Max 1-inspired sole unit equipped with Air technology and a stark white hue. Its introductory color scheme will equip a camouflage motif that comes composed of Iguana, Cargo Khaki, Desert Ore, and Black for a rugged, jungle-ready vibe. Grab a first look at the brand new Nike SB Air Max Janoski 2 above and stay tuned for release info and more updates as we have them.
