Classic Red And Black Are Coming To The Nike Air Max Tailwind IV

Very few things are more quintessentially Nike than a white, black, and red color scheme, and the latest Swoosh Brand silhouette to get dressed in the classic palette is the renascent Air Max Tailwind IV. Using a brisk combination of white leather and mesh for its base, this Tailwind IV then proceeds to dress the vast majority of its accents in a combination of black and red, most noticeably on the quarter’s plastic overlays, which offer a black-to-red gradient fade. Red Swooshes are dispersed through the upper for branding, and down below a white EVA foam midsole holds red Air Max cushioning units with black accents. As always, you can find the Tailwind’s light blue MX badge on the outsole, much in the same way you know the yellow TN badge will always grace the heel of another late ’90s classic: the Air Max Plus. Look for this new-but-inherently-familiar design to release on Nike.com right now with a retail price of $160 USD.
