Although Stephen Curry can’t physically be on the floor as he finishes up the latter stages of his rehabilitation process, he’s finding other ways to impact the sport of basketball through efforts related to the youth. Through the Underrated Tour which will be making stops in Chicago, Dallas, Washington DC and Los Angeles, the Golden State Warriors’ point guard gives the opportunity for young hoopers who may not necessarily be on the top of the division 1 recruitment lists to showcase their skills and ultimately compete for the two available spots at his annual SC30 Select Camp.
This month, Under Armour is releasing a special “Underrated Tour” colorway of the Curry 7 that celebrates these aspirations of these young players. Sultry burgundy hues coat a majority its mesh constructions, with more vibrant reds popping out through its midsole plate and signature logo on the lateral panels for a fitting look considering these release on Valentine’s Day, and also somewhat host similar ties to that of Davidson College colors – the institution that took a chance on him when he was once an overlooked prospect. In addition, the midsoles also get plastered in speckled detailing which is the first time the silhouette uses this decor. Find these releasing on February 14th at the retailers listed here below for $140.
