At the absolute peak of Air Max Day, droves of Max fans were drawn to special festivals (remember Air Max Con?), in-store experiences, free concerts, design competitions, and more. In 2020, with the globe essentially locked at home due to the COVID-19 crisis, such events can’t take place. Instead, retailers have been left to their creative devices to add a little umph to this year’s sneaker release slate which are offered exclusively online. BAIT has chosen to team with renowned illustrator Reina (you may recognize her drawings of sneaker-inspired heroines) for a limited-edition “Duck Camo” print, highlighting the duo of “Duck Camo” Air Max shoes that are dropping on March 26. Just 90 of these prints will be randomly distributed to raffle winners who purchase the shoes (you can enter the raffle here). Check out a behind-the-scenes look at Reina at work, and make sure you check our full Air Max 90 Duck Camo store list.
