After several homages to Nike Hike, the Air Force 1 Low has returned in a vibrant colorway ostensibly inherited from the predecessor to All Conditions Gear (ACG).
Bruce Kilgore’s design from 1982 is faithfully followed on the latest Air Force 1, though “Orange Trance” is far from original. Accompanying “Lotus Pink” and “Pacific Blue” also distance this iteration from debut pairs, but their respective components go further. Midfoot panels replace traditional leather with durable canvas, just as surrounding overlays do with suede. Elsewhere, tongues and profile Swooshes don mesh, with the latter’s being transparent and reminiscent of the Jordan 4‘s side windows. Heel panels and midsoles proffer closer-to-OG compositions even with their respective rich blue and orange flair.
