Sneaker News Ever since they collaborated with UNION LA and banded with the veritably creative set of FEARLESS ONES notables, Jordan Brand has operated far closer to the eccentric, often putting it on themselves to think of the next unique design. And after mimicking the Californian retailer with their Smoke Grey Air Jordan 1, they’re set to offer yet another fusion with the “Satin Snake.” Effectively a meld between three of their most oft-used techniques, the luxe offering delves into the expensive as it constructs the swoosh, heel wrap, and ankle flaps in a striking black snakeskin. The overlays and unders, however, prefer a more standard smooth leather whose coloring — if not including the aforementioned neutral — draws a strong resemblance to the iconic “Chicago” scheme. Finished by satin tongues, the pair is set to quite literally live up to its namesake on its rumored August 15th release date.
