The recently re-launched Nike Air Cross Trainer 3 Low from 1990 has emerged in a patriotic colorway perfect for the now-postponed Tokyo Olympics.
While shorter and constructed differently than the Olympic Uptempo quietly retroed earlier this month, the cross trainer is boasts a “White” and “Midnight Navy” arrangement. The former hue takes over the upper’s leather construction, laces and outsoles, while the latter interrupts at branding across the tongue and heel, as well as midsole tooling. Profile Swooshes forgoes their surroundings’ solid compositions and instead revels in a “Midnight Navy” to “White” gradient. And while the low-top Air Cross Trainer 3 doesn’t feature the ombré finish elsewhere, it dons “University Red” flair at the tongue, completing the patriotic palette.
No official release date is yet known, but this Air Cross Trainer 3 Low is likely to arrive quietly to Nike.com as Summer inches closer. Until then, enjoy a first-look at the pair here below.
