Reebok and Charli Cohen To Release Footwear Capsule Inspired By The Intersection Of Technology And Humanity

Reebok has been going full force on their collaborations this season as they’ve revealed a slew of interesting projects including that of its Instapump Furys with Vetements and BAIT, as well as their Classic Leathers with Brain Dead. And given that many of them have been well-received, they figure might as well keep the momentum going. So to close out the month of June, the Boston-based sportswear brand is joining hands with emerging fashion brand Charli Cohen for a two piece footwear collection.

Drawing inspiration from the intersection of technology and humanity, and how each can enhance our daily lives, the collaboration indulges in this concept of an exoskeleton, or in their words — something that enables performance outside of the realm of natural biology but also honors the imperfections that make us human. Elements from Cohen’s clean design language are translated into two monochromatic renditions of the Reebok Zig Kinetica, one being an all-white and the other, an all-black. Each are supplemented with accents involving that of bar codes stamped near the ankle collars, followed by exposed red stitchings at the toe box and laces upgraded with reflective stripes. Stay tuned for more imagery related to its FUSIUM Run 20 Sock release sibling, and find these dropping June 29th on Reebok.com for $120 a piece.
