Virgil Abloh‘s legacy in sneakers effectively jumpstarted with the release of “The Ten,” a collaborative series with Nike that toured through the brand’s most iconic silhouettes. And though the designer has since moved away from this very line-up — presenting originals like the Rubber Dunk, hole-clad Air Jordan 5s, and much more — it seems he’s getting nostalgic as he’s suddenly posted another glimpse at the black-colored Off-White x Air Force 1 MoMA
Presented via social media captioned as “Savage Mode,” Abloh has left his reasoning a mystery, though it’s highly possible that we can expect a full official release following the the near inaccessible roll-out the pair initially had. In terms of design, the pair is as it appeared prior, hued primarily in black smooth leathers. Swooshes are dressed atop the profile in silver foil, accented adjacent by orange tabs and tonal black stitch against its edge. White laces then fasten across the cloth tongue, accessorized with partially see-through zip-toes and matched by bold-faced “AIR” text at the midsole.
Grab a sudden peek at these once again here and sit tight as it’s possible we’ll hear word on an upcoming drop soon.
