A product of adidas‘ Brooklyn Creator Farm, the N3XT L3V3L hasn’t warranted as much attention as some of the Three Stripes’ other basketball propositions, despite being widely touted for its performance. The model’s 2020 version, however, is trying to change that with two newly-launched colorways.
Although predominantly clad in either “Core Black” or “Signal Pink,” the duo allows for the sneaker’s signature design details to be discernible. A seamless, Primeknit Upper appears much sleeker than on inaugural pairs, which were worn in the NBA by the Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young. Both profiles are reinforced by synthetic leather overlays, with lateral sidewalls boasting robust midfoot support. Pull tabs on the tongue and heel deliver function to the sock-like silhouette; “Feet You Wear” (FYW) reminiscent outsoles follow suit, giving traction to the Lightstrike and BOOST cushioning just above them.
