ASICS GEL-NYC
Though a relatively new addition to the ASICS line, the ASICS GEL-NYC couldn’t be off to a better start. Devised by Awake NY head Angelo Baque, the hybrid model combines tooling from the GEL Plus V, GEL-Cumulus 16 and GEL-Nimbus 3. Correspondingly, the two brand came together for the debut edition of the Awake GEL-NYC, with the silhouette being “released” to the ASICS mainline shortly after. Since that initial debut, the shoe has hit shelves in plenty of GR formulations as well as some collaborative efforts: the Needles GEL-NYC and Hidden NY GEL-NYC jump to mind as the most sought-after.
