The New Balance 993 is a lifestyle shoe, the final addition to the influential New Balance 99x series in the 2000s. It remained the last entrant until the addition of updated New Balance 990 vX editions that began in 2012. With the 99x line becoming one of the most crucial drivers for the brand’s revitalization, the 993 has experienced serious windfall along with the rest of its sibling models. A frequent collaborative silhouette, many of NB’s frequent partners have graced the shoe with designs- from Aimé Leon Dore to KITH to Joe Freshgoods. New colorways of the silhouette roll out on a relatively consistent basis, be it in-line general releases or special edition collabs.
