Matt Varga In recent times, almost exclusively been used for “pinnacle” applications, with its most recent releases coming under the direction of JJJJound, Teddy Santis, KITH and Joe Freshgoods. While still sporting the Made In USA stamp, as well as the premium materials and price tag that comes with that, the New Balance 993 “Heritage Collection” deliver the first earnest in-line releases we’ve seen in some time, likely welcome news for the many NB fans who list this silhouette as among their best.
The capsule’s title is proudly stamped on the interior of each of these colorways, but they can earnestly be understood as a “core” cast of colorways. Look to the uniting steely mesh foundation across all three pairs, tying into the ongoing New Balance “Grey Days” celebration that capitalizes on the brand’s trademark tones. The key distinction across all three comes with the hue utilized for the pigskin overlays build on top, “Incense” beige, “Covert Green” olive, and “Reflection” light grey, the lattermost pair also switching the leather underlays into similar shades.
All three pairs in the New Balance 993 Made In USA “Heritage” collection are available now via NewBalance.com, listed as an exclusive release. Retail is at $200 across all of these colorways options. Hit the “Where To Buy” links ahead to pick up yours.
