Even if you’re not a sneakerhead, you’ve been exposed to the love of footwear through all mediums of entertainment. Television, film, music, the news, sneakers are everywhere! Legendary shows like the Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Seinfeld regularly featured Jordans and Nikes, and who can forget Homer Simpson’s love for ‘The Assassins’? Sneakers have had a profound effect on more than just fictional sitcoms, but in the way urban fashion is shaped today. I don't think Pop Culture killed or ruined the world; it INSPIRED the world in the way urban fashion is shaped today. I also think that is how history gets written.
