Nike SB Dunk High – ‘Purple Haze’ | Unreleased Sample

Nike Sb Dunk High Purple Haze 2009 Sample 01

Last year Nike SB teamed up with Todd Bratrud to release the Nike SB Dunk High ‘Skunk’ as part of a collaboration commemorating the April 20th recreational ‘holiday’. Another SB Dunk is slated for release later this month, but here’s a look at a 2009 unreleased sample pair of the Nike SB Dunk High rumored to have been a 4/20 release of that year; given the name ‘Purple Haze’, these sample Dunks feature a Dark Army suede upper with a texturized leather upper (with a perforated center panel), purple patent leather on the swoosh, and a black midsole above a purple outsole. Unlike this year’s Cheech and Chong and last year’s Skunks which had clear relation to the sticky green, these don’t have a true obvious connection to the 4/20 date, which could explain why these were scrapped altogether. We’ve got additional images for you below so take a look and let us know what you think, and test your auction luck by check out this item from bridgefootwear on eBay.
