Attentive Jordanheads have known for some time to expect a serious run of Air Jordan V Retros next year for the 23rd anniversary (just as with this year’s complete run of OG AJ4s), and here’s a new look at the first one up for the new year. Releasing in late January will be the ‘Fire Red’ Air Jordan 5, a popular 1990 original last seen paired with the AJXVIII in ’08’s Countdown Pack. They don’t have the ’23’ heel embroidery like those CDPs but do keep with the original blocking instead of the roughly opposite concoction we’d seen among the other spring 2013 Air Jordan Retros in a June preview. We still have a ways to go to get to the next round of Q1 drops including a jam-packed holiday season, but new images of the Fire Red Fives follow the jump below and Sneaker News will keep you up to date the whole way.
