The Nike Pegasus 2K5 Joins The “Be The One” Collection

Archival heat honors the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

The Nike Pegasus 2K5 Joins The “Be The One” Collection

Ahead of the Olympic Games later this month, Nike has crafted a few different product series in honor of the international sporting event and its everlasting significance. Quietly, the Beaverton brand’s “Be The One” collection continues to take shape. Two Air Force 1 colorways have been unveiled, and now the Nike Pegasus 2K5 continues its resurgence in similar makeup.

The defining feature of all “Be The One” colorways is the circular stamp that appears on the tongue, clad in metallic gold in a clear nod to Olympic medals. Just as on the aforementioned AF1s, we see text reading “Be The 1” within sun-inspired detailing on the edges, complemented by a winking face underneath. Save for that unifying feature, all “Be The One” colorways previewed to date opt for their own color palettes. Navy blue underlays are contrasted by a white cage, toe cap, and mesh base here, while a bright cyan hue hops on the Swoosh and select portions of the midsole.

Notably for the archival model itself, this marks the first time the Pegasus 2K5 been included in a collection since Nike brought it back at the dawn of the year, building energy around several other newly surfaced colorways earmarked for Fall 2024.

Given the Olympics inspiration at hand, sneakerheads should expect pairs to hit shelves in the next few weeks for $150, although a later Fall 2024 drop is possible. Return to our Sneaker Release Dates page for all the latest info while we stay current on our end.
