Matt Varga Introduced in anticipation of Valentine’s Day, the sized-up Nike Air Max 90 LV8 has maintained a romantic atmosphere even as the holiday has fallen further into the rear view. Rich creams & deep reds have now become sort of the signature look for the silhouette, a claim strengthened by the latest colorway in “Red Stardust.”
Overall, the shoe sticks to a relatively standard AM90 script; it’s a three shade weave between the titular pink, off-white beige and pure platinum white. That simplistic palette makes it easier to spot the new additions to the model, however. A grid-like pattern takes the bottom most layer and the Swoosh swaps from fully shaded to just an outline. Of course, the platform sole speaks for itself, and the double decker Air bubble continues to be arguably the most eye-catching piece of this shoe as a whole.
The Nike Air Max 90 LV8 “Red Stardust” is projected to launch as a part of Nike’s Fall slate. Expect a $145 retail price once this pair materializes.
