Rumors of the mysterious Grey Spy have been confirmed today at PUMA Headquarters.

Created for friends and family, this shoe pays homage to the Grey Spy who appeared in the MAD Magazine’s Spy vs. Spy comic between the years of 1962-1965. The production was limited to less than 30 units total – resulting in the collector frenzy.

Methods of obtaining the Grey PUMA x BDGA Spy II Hi have only been alluded to. Hidden within the shoe is a secret message containing instructions on how to capture the Grey Spy. For the first time authorized images of the Grey Spy are being released. Industry insiders have pegged it as one of the strongest releases for 2008 with the Grey Spy adding a whole new dimension.

Designed by Bodega (Boston MA) in-conjunction with Puma and Mad Magazine the Spy 2 High retails for $125.00. The official release date is this Saturday February 23, 2008 at the following retailers Bodega (Boston), Ubiq (Philadelphia), Huf (San Francisco), ALIFE (New York), Premium Goods (Houston), Undefeated (Los Angeles – La Brea location), Classic Kicks (New York), Livestock (Toronto), and Atmos (New York).
