The Converse Chuck Taylor is about as basic of a shoe as you’re going to get and in recent months it’s come back onto the scene as one of the most sought after shoes in the market. Some of it might be due to the buzz it’s garnered thanks to the collaborations with Hiroshi, other parts of it may be due to the fact that consumers are looking for cheaper shoes that they can wear with anything, or it could just be that the creative minds at Converse are continuously able to come up with fresh ideas for the Chuck Taylor that give it a new look while still maintaining it’s classic feel. That’s the case in point with the newest “Leather Jacket” Chuck Taylor which is part of the larger Converse Century Collection, this particular model will be available at select Converse retailers in July. via Sneaker Freaker
