As the 2008 Beijing Olympics draw closer we are starting to see more and more releases drawing inspiration from this monumental event. For instance, the newly released Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium ‘Birds Nest’. The shoe features a USA colorway in Red, White, and Blue nubuck and leather. The tongue of the shoe is also topped with a Metallic Gold tag resembling an Olympic Gold Medal. The side panel of the shoe draws inspiration from the Beijing National Stadium, where many of this Summers Olympic Events will be held. The Beijing Stadium has received many architectural accolades from its unique one of a kind design mimicking a Birds Nest. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Premium ‘Birds Nest’ are available now on ebay, but will release officially on June 28th, 2008 at select urban retailers and at Nike Member’s Only Store.
