Air Jordan 1 Low Phat – Cements – Release Reminder

This weekend, the pair of cement Air Jordan 1 Low Phat will be hitting a few select Air Jordan retailers around the country. The pair which feature colors from the classic Air Jordan III are part of a new variation of the Air Jordan 1 Low. This new “Phat” model pays homage to Air Jordan’s past as an impromptu skate shoe. In the 80’s, before there were the big name skate shoe companies, many skated in the Air Jordan 1 as there were few alternatives available. All the pieces of the Air Jordan 1 are in place and little has changed, silhouette wise, but additional padding has been added to the innards and to the tongue. This is similar to what was done to the Nike Dunk as it was slowly converted into the Nike SB version. As both are fairly limited, they are not being released at any of the usual online stores but of course you can always find them on eBay.
