After the widely successful launch of the Nike Zoom Lebron V Yankees Edition, Lebron gave New York fans something to cheer about and possibly something to look forward to if he decides to pursue free agency and leaves the Cavaliers in favor of the Knicks or Nets. Lebron ended up with 50 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists last year on March 5th, when his Cavs played the Knicks at Madison Square Garden and LBJ debuted the Zoom Lebron V Yankees colorway. Now it seems Nike is commemorating that performance with a Nike Zoom Lebron VI inspired by the New York Yankees colors of White and Midnight Navy, unfortunately for all you sneakerheads out there this year’s version is missing the infamous Yankees’ pinstripes. However an added feature to the shoe is Lebron’s stats from last year’s game and the date of the game on different pieces of the shoe. These shoes are available now at the Nike x Footlocker House of Hoops in Harlem and will be released at general Nike Basketball retailers in the upcoming weeks. via NikeLebron.net
