Most of what we’ve seen from Vans lately has been grown-up takes on their classic-filled catalogue. Their Vault collection has taken models like the Authentic to new heights. This time it’s a bit of a departure; we get a pair of heavy duty boots suitable for any weather you could throw at em.
The Avalanche Boot rises high above the ankle to keep you cozy. The upper features red and black fuzzy plaid flannel, over which is laid a rubberized Vans stripe that swoops up around the ankle. They’re hefty and chunky, but somehow the simple application of the black stripe helps em seem somewhat sleek. Hike over to Flauge to cop a pair of your own. Via HB
