As many of you may know, with 2009 adidas will be celebrating their 60th anniversary of being in the fashion game. To help celebrate this landmark anniversary, Adidas has put together some special releases to mark the celebration. In an extravagantly celebratory fashion, adidas has put together a “Diamond” pack featuring their classic Superstar sneaker. The shoe comes in the timeless white/black colorway, but with some very luxurious features.
On each shoe, you will find six 0.2 carat diamonds engrained in-between the outer side of the upper, in-between the black stripes. To add to the bling, Swaravsky crystals are in place to add some shine to the lacelocks and the tongue ornaments, which can be removed and worn as pendants. Look for these to release along with a special edition t-shirt at adidas Originals retailers in Taiwan, with the shoes carrying a price tag of $721.00USD (or $24,000.00 TWD). via Kenlu
