It’s official. The long awaited Nike Air Yeezy will hit stores as a Quickstrike some time this month! With the impending release come these new detailed images of this sizzling Zen Grey/Light Charcoal version of the Yeezy. Thanks to these close-ups you can see a couple of interesting touches that could not be seen in previous photos. For one, the embroidered Yeezy logo is now visible on the heel tab and on a more subtle note, a textured pattern using scattered “Y’s” to create a design effect appears on sections of the upper and the strap. Also, we get our best look yet at the functionality of the intriguing orange lace lock.

With a super crisp grey/white/neon orange color scheme, wide strap and stylish extra-high cut, these pics are proof that the Air Yeezy will indeed be as sick as we originally thought. We’ll keep you posted on a confirmed release date as soon as that information becomes available. For know, just keep drooling over these photos. via NikeTalk.
