Japanese retail giant, Atmos, has once again teamed up with New Balance for a new take on one of their classic models. This time around, it’s the New Balance CM996 AB that will get the Atmos treatment and the result is pretty wild. The shoe features a textured black upper with plenty of added style features. The heel and ankle panels, as well as the New Balance “N” logo are covered in a houndstooth pattern and the top section of the midsole sports a speckled purple hue. The most noticeable feature, however, is the gradient rainbow effect that transitions up the entire shoe, from purple on the toe, all the way to green on the tongue. A rainbow insole and additional rainbow laces add some additional color to the mix, as if these kicks needed it, and a final style touch comes by way of a script New Balance logo on the heel panel. If you think you’re bold enough to pull these off, you can pick up a pair now at Atmos.
