Recently, we’ve seen a bunch of Vans models with sections of plaid material, like the Aion LX and the Solebox Old Skool. Now the pattern is applied to two of Vans most beloved models. The Vans Vault has opened up once again to reveal new plaid versions of the Sk8-Hi Cup LX and Chukka Boot Cup LX. Both models are available in two colorways. One color combo features rich brown leather with the rest of the upper constructed of a plaid fabric with muted overlapping shades of red, blue, black and white. The other colorway is black on black, causing the plaid sections to become much more subtle and appear to create the illusion of texture rather than a pattern. Both colorways of both shoes feature a white midsole and tonal laces. Expect these to hit select Vans retailers this spring. via HighSnobiety.
