Tokyo fashion designer Alexander Lee Chang has joined forces with Vans to put his own unique spin on the iconic Sk8-Hi model and the collaboration has produced some intriguing results. The kicks feature a split-style upper, using black patent leather on the outer half of each shoe, with Vans’ trademark checker pattern on the inner half. In addition to the unique upper design, the shoe also sports a white midsole with crown graphics running horizontally across. The Alexander Lee Chang Sk8-Hi will be a part of the Fall ’09 collection and will be released in the very near future at Zicue.
