This year’s Tour de France is in full swing and with Lance Armstrong currently sitting in third place, his LIVESTRONG foundation is spreading awareness all over the world. As you know, Nike Sportswear’s LIVESTRONG collection has taken many of Nike’s rare and classic models and given them a Black/Yellow LIVESTRONG makeover. To coincide with the ongoing race, Frank Liew and the Qubic crew created a beautiful installation that features the Nike footwear collection with a backdrop featuring a profile map of Stage 20 of the race (Montelimar – Mont Vernoux), which is one of the race’s most arduous stretches and a symbolic reminder of the struggles that Armstrong himself continues to overcome. Some other things of note were a yellow deconstructed bicycle and tools on the wall and also that many of the sneakers were encased in glass along with some history on each. Keep reading after the jump for a nice look at the installation. Via Hypebeast.
