Nike Zoom Kobe V x Hyperize – 2010 Preview

Nike Zoom Kobe V x Hyperize – 2010 Preview

kobe-V-x-hyperize

You might remember that before the Zoom Kobe IV dropped last winter, Kobe Bryant was seen rocking a very interesting pair of hybrid kicks that took the Hyperdunk model that Kobe was instrumental in launching, and updated it with the outsole from the Zoom Kobe IV. Unfortunately the hybrid version never hit retail, but at least we got to check out some pics of the intriguing mash-up. Now, with the Zoom Kobe V around the corner, we get a look at another possibly Kobe-inspired hybrid shoe that takes a similar approach. While it is not exact, this Hyperize-ish new style sports a midsole and outsole pretty similar to the Kobe V, along with a heavily Flywired upper.

The color scheme of this particular sample goes with a simple white base accented by Navy and Red, with some matching graphics on the ankle and heel. The colorway doesn’t seem to have a Kobe connection unless it’s an Olympic nod, so it’s hard to say for sure if these are in fact the same type of Kobe hybrid that we saw last season with the Hyperdunk, but the tooling would certainly make you think so. Check out last year’s Zoom Kobe IV x Hyperdunks after the jump, and stay tuned for more info on this mysterious new model that may or may not be hitting stores next year. Via NT.
